Google Analytics gives us, among other tools a tool that allows you to track your ad or “newsletter”.
The URL builder helps you add parameters to URLs you use in custom web-based or email ad campaigns. A custom campaign is any ad campaign not using the AdWords auto-tagging feature. When users click one of the custom links, the unique parameters are sent to your Google Analytics account, so you can identify the URLs that are most effective in attracting users to your content.
Open the Web site http://www.google.com/support/analytics/bin/answer.py? hl = en & answer = 55578 and follow the steps below: title page, source, medium, then click “generate URL”. Create a link and then copy the link.
Review in Google Analytics
Google Analytics the result are in the “Traffic Sources”-> “Campaigns” and “Ad Versions”. The display depends on the preparation of the connection tracking.
